VeinGogh- Ohmic Thermolysis System

The VeinGogh Ohmic Thermolysis System provides a superior solution for the treatment of fine telangiectasia, spider veins and small angiomas and, if appropriate, can be used in conjunction with sclerotherapy to deliver the best results possible. While lasers and other light-based solutions are expensive, skin-type dependent and have an inherent risk of injury, VeinGogh uses a hair-thin, insulated probe to thermocoagulate and instantly eliminate vessels dependably, repeatably and on any skin-type. Microbursts of electrical energy are converted to heat to instantly coagulate the blood and collapse the vessel wall, which later will be absorbed by the body.

Because the probe directs the heat downward toward the vessel, through a tiny needle, the outer layers of the skin are unaffected. The treated areas will develop a very fine “cat scratch” appearance and redness that will fade and heal over a period of 3-6 weeks revealing the absence of these troublesome veins. VeinGogh works best on those fine spider veins (smaller then 1 mm) that are sometimes just too tiny to treat with sclerotherapy. Your doctor can help you decide which treatment, or a combination of both, is best suited for your needs.
